Following the acclaimed release of his solo debut “Adult Themes for Beginners” and two feature documentaries’ scores, “Robin’s Wish” and “The Godfathers of Hardcore,” Drake’s Phantom Valley EP plays the line between a horror soundtrack and traditional Eastern European folk music.
Returning to his roots of harsh noise and experimental music, Drake has crafted quiet, evocative structures using extended string techniques and close miking. The performances are fragile, close and personal.
